Bituin Cove is one of the best budget-friendly beaches in Batangas. This private beach cove is a nice spot to pitch a tent, swim and snorkel, and light up a bonfire at night. Locals also refer to it as Angara Cove. It's a 15-minute boat ride away from the main beach in Barangay Calayo in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Located off the coast of the town of Nasugbu in Batangas is Fortune Island, a 27-hectare private property which is fast becoming a go-to place for those aiming a quick island escapade specially for those living in Metro Manila and Southern Tagalog.
How Fortune Island got its name is also a classic tale. A Spanish galleon San Diego sunk near the island and a vast amount of treasure was recovered when its shipwreck was discovered in 1992. The fortune brought by the discovery of San Diego Galleon paved the way for the island’s present name.
Fortune Island boasts of white sand beaches and rocky cliffs on the backdrop of its rich turquoise waters. But the island’s most prominent feature is the ruins of old columns and statues that aptly resemble the Parthenon of Greece! These ruins are remnants of a resort in the late 80’s.
A few decades ago, Fortune Island was once an exclusive luxury resort that serves the upper class of society. Unfortunately, it was difficult and costly to maintain a luxury resort without a ready source of fresh water. The resort ceased its operations and was abandoned. One remarkable reminder of its grandeur stands atop the island’s limestone cliff overlooking the sea – a replica of the Acropolis of Athens with Grecian pillars and statues. Today, the ruins are the icons that provide unique character to the place… icons that exude that “Parthenon” feels!

For the direction, don’t search/ pin directly the campsite, please seek for the old registration/ jump off point of Mt. Talamitam, the corner near waiting shed is way in to campsite.
